MANCHESTER'S "MOST LOVED BAR"
Manchester — 25/11/2025— The team behind Manchester’s iconic late night cocktail bar, The Liquor Store, were extremely proud to be voted Manchester’s ‘Most Loved Bar’ at the 2025 I Love Manchester Awards.
The prestigious awards ceremony saw 800 of the cities most valued people attend the glamorous affair at Manchester Central. Where, following over 180,000 public votes and careful scoring from an impartial judging panel, The Liquor Store took home the incredible honour from one of the cities most recognised brands Since opening its doors just off Deansgate in 2012, The Liquor Store has become an institution for hospitality workers and locals alike with expertly created cocktails, a vibrant music policy, a bar team like no other, and a party thatkeeps rocking till 3 am every night of the week.
After being named Manchester’s Most Loved Bar, owner Doug Waldron said ‘We’re all extremely proud to receive this amazing award, especially amongst such strong competition, Manchester has an incredible bar scene which we are massively proud to be part of. I can’t thank everyone enough for voting for us, it honestly means so much to us.
Most of all, I am so pleased for the team, who I know will be proper buzzing for this. The guys behind the bar have always been our strongest asset, throwing parties for everyone seven nights a week with awesome service, standards, drinks and music!
